Rules

  1. No consumption of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs by drivers will be tolerated before and during the pulls.

  2. No registration will be accepted after the first pull of the class has started.

  3. All tractor drivers must show safe manner of control of their tractors during pulling and in pit area.

  4. The puller must immediately obey the officials signal or will be disqualified. The track judge and officials decisions are final. Judge track will have a green and red flag.

  5. There will be a driver's meeting before each pull to appoint a flag man and determinate between a floating finish or a full pull track.

  6. One operator per tractor per class.

  7. The puller may stop before the front of the sled has reached 50 ft and ask for a repull only once, then the driver has 2 minutes to make adjustments once sled is spotted. Pull off excluded and Pull off have only one hook up.

  8. Tractors that touch or cross over the trackside lines during a pull will be disqualified. Maximum track length will be 300'. Only the test puller on his/her test pull, will be exempt of an out of bounds disqualification.

  9. Once sled weight is correct, the test puller has the right to take his first pull or to come back in third or last place. If pull sled weight is incorrect, the test puller must re-pull immediately or will loose his test pull then the second puller of class will become the test puller.Test pullers must notify the sled driver before leaving the track if coming back for repull.

  10. Drivers must wear helmets and long pants or over alls no longer than ankle length for all classes and only helmets approved for snowmobile or motorcycle will be permitted. No sandals or open shoes will be permitted.

  11. All tractors will be classified by tractor weight and driver for each class. There will be a 20 pounds maximum over weight for each class.

  12. Any loss of weights during pull is an instant disqualification.

  13. All tractors must have a 2 lbs fire extinguisher bolted on an accessible a visible area on tractor.

  14. All tractors must be 2 wheel drive, driven from rear tires. No dual wheels, chains, studs or paddle tires will be accepted.

  15. All vehicles must have a drawbar that is constructed from steel material and is stationary in all directions. Minimum drawbar thickness at hook point: ½" to ¾" maximum. Point of hook minimum opening: 1 ¾" to 2 ¼" maximum round hole.27 inches tires pull at 15 inches drawbar and 27 inches and over tires pull at 13 inches drawbar.

  16. No weights will be tolerated on the seat or in the wheels. The driver can slide his butt on the seat without lifting. All tractor must have a tractor seat or similar in dimension with a backrest minimum of 3" high. All drivers must be seated with legs in forward position. Full floor board under feet is required.

  17. The tractor must not exceed 8' from the center rear axle to most forward part including weights. The front axle must not exceed 4' wide including tires. The rear weights must not exceed 24" from center rear axle and a maximum of 12" above the rear tires. Rear differential must not exceed 72" wide including tires. Center rear axle to center front axle must not exceed 84" long.

  18. The exhaust pipes must not be pointed at any spectators. New 1999 year and up tractor series that exhaust pipes output is under the tractor must have a minimum of 20 degrees upworth at the end.

  19. All modified tractors must be equipped with adequate wheelie bars and dead man throttle. Kill switch shall be located at the rear of the tractor in a position that will allow for easy attachment or detachment without interference. The switch must be in center of tractor or within 6" either side of center.A second emergency Kill switch will be installed on the handle bar of ski-doo motors.

  20. All tractors must have adequate braking system.

  21. Tractors will operate on gasoline and must be naturally aspirated, EFI accepted. No alcohol,pressurized fuel,turbo's or blowers.

  22. The rear tire THREADS must be covered a minimum of 3" by a fender for driver and spectators safety.

  23. All tractors must be equipped with an adequate protection shield over front of engine crankcase with a minimum of 1/8" thick metal. All shafts, drives, sprockets ,chains and clothes must be properly shielded for safety.

  24. Partial definition of a tractor; MODIFIED CLASS Original Trans-axle casing, single motor from snowmobile or motorcycle not exceeding 1100 c.c.(monobloc base), ressemble the original lawn tractor model appearance,original lawn tractor chassis that can be lengthened 6 inches maximum, original or custom (10 to 25 hp) lawn tractor engine are allowed alcohol, rear tires must be 26-12-12 maximum size. Classes are 1000 & 1200 pounds.
OPEN MODIFIED CLASS
Single motor from snowmobile or motorcycle not exceeding 1500 c.c. (monobloc base), home made chassis or Lawn Tractor with, automotive rear differential and transmission if desired 1200 & 1400 pound classes. Rear tires maximum size is 31-15.5-15.

MULTI ENGINE MODIFIED CLASS
multiple motors from snowmobile or motorcycle totaling 1500 c.c. maximum, 2500c.c. automotive engine will be accepted. Home made chassis or Lawn Tractor, automotive rear differential and transmission if desired. No alcohol, turbo's or blowers. ONLY 2500c.c automotive engine 4 stroke, 4 cylinder will be allowed alcohol. 1400 & 1600-pound class. Rear tires maximum size is 31-15.5-15.
